Paul Harris/Vern White Award
Purpose of the Award:
To recognize a Non-Rotarian whose life and actions exemplify the spirit of the motto, “Service Above Self” and exhibits the characteristics that represent the values of the 4 Way Test.
 
Criteria:
Is It Truth?  This person exhibits a true sense of honesty in all of their business and personal dealings.
 
Is it Fair to all Concerned?   This person exemplifies a genuine caring for those people that surround them on a regular basis.
 
Will it Build Goodwill and Better Friendships?  This person has continually provided a helping hand that builds solid foundations of friendship, inspiration and encouragement to others.
 
Will it Be Beneficial to All Concerned?  The activities, involvement, volunteerism and/or leadership of this person have left their community a better place.
 
Timelines:
            October 7: Submittal Forms Due
 
October 14:  Committee has a designated recipient, award and pin is ordered from Rotary International.
           
            1st Week of November:  Award is presented on the Monday of Foundation Week.

Recipient is contacted and is informed of presentation date.
 
Recipient family or friends have been contacted.
 
Contact has been made with Rotary Foundation Chair regarding arrangements and guest count.
 
Guest Names have been submitted
 
Presentation date arrangements for greeting, introductions, etc. have been discussed and confirmed with Rotary.
