The Owatonna Rotary Club is deeply committed to investing in the next generation through meaningful youth-focused initiatives. Each year, the club leads the 3rd Grade Journal Project, distributing journals to every third grader in Owatonna to encourage writing, creativity, and personal growth. It’s a small gift with a big purpose—sparking self-expression and literacy at a pivotal age.
Beyond the classroom, the Owatonna Rotary Club helps shape future leaders by sponsoring local students to attend Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) and Camp Enterprise, immersive programs that build leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills. The club also proudly supports the Rotary Youth Exchange program, welcoming an inbound student each year to live and learn in Owatonna, promoting cultural exchange and global understanding. Through these efforts, Owatonna Rotary is creating opportunities for young people to grow, lead, and thrive—both locally and globally.
